Feeling Limited by Volusion's Native Followup Email System?
Sat, 2011-02-12 01:30 | by BrianI do a lot of comparing 3DCart and Volusion. I process orders in both carts everyday. One area that I think Volusion lags behind 3dCart is their email followup system. Both carts do a good job soliciting product review post-purchase but Volusion's Abandoned Cart Followup email system leave a lot to be desired. For one thing, it isn't automated (this should have been a no-brainer) and customizing the email isn't easy (for instance the email subject line can't be changed).
V5 Is Rolling Out On New Volusion Stores
Fri, 2007-08-03 12:55 | by BrianVolusion 5 (V5) is released and is being used for all new stores. Volusion is working on fine tuning the upgrade process for existing customers. Merchants that are running version 5 have reported that the new version is everything they’d hope for. V5 is feature packed and this release solidifies Volusion’s dominance in the hosted shopping cart solution market. Since Volusion is the measuring stick used to evaluate other host cart solutions, it will be interesting to see how their competitors responds to V5.
